The backwards clock is a robust, large quartz wall clock whose hands and dial go anti-clockwise.

despite having a backwards wall clock in our office, we still struggle
to tell the time correctly when throwing the backwards novelty clock a
cursory glance.
Great fun and
an amusing conversational piece but not to be used when catching that
